Raw Primal Post Workout Drink
I usually workout outside but I went to the gym yesterday and I feel I worked my muscles a little harder on the machines than just with my own body weight.
I do eat most of these things daily in my diet anyway but I thought I’d make them into a post workout shake!
RAW PRIMAL Post Workout Shake
1 1/2 cups raw milk (cow or goat)
2 Tablespoons raw butter
2 raw pasture raised eggs
1-2 Tablespoons raw honey
1/2 inch ginger root
squeeze juice of one lemon
1-2 teaspoon bee pollen
Put all in the blender and blend. Top with more bee pollen.
I will be getting raw protein to rebuild and repair my muscles from the raw egg and raw milk.
Raw milk has all 8 essential amino acids to help repair muscles.
The raw butter is great for inflammation and the CLA in the butter helps build muscles and remove abdominal fat.
The Raw butter also helps lubricate all my joints and relieves stiffness.
The lemon helps to alkalize my body from possible acidity from the workout.
The ginger is for any inflammation.
The raw honey will digest and assimilate and utilize all of the whole shake.
Some body builders claim Bee Pollen to be the best natural ingredients for “body building”.
Bee Pollen helps you burn fat, repair muscles, cope with stress, and improve muscle tone.
Raw whey would be even better to add in if you can source it ;))
