Spirulina | Raw Egg | Post Workout Drink!
Hello Friends,
I’m so excited to share with you that I have expanded to Marin County! I will now be in Los Angeles and Marin County providing you with wonderful life giving raw foods. Some things in life are so important to me such as clean air, clean water, and rain. So on a whim I packed up my car and drove to beautiful Marin County! I should really be selling a service on how to move since I’ve become an expert in moving and now a minimalist. I have learned to have no attachments to “things” such as furniture that can hold me back from exploring and growing into my best self. I’m inspired to start living the life I want NOW.
Ok, Lets get to the Spirulina Raw Egg Post Workout Drink. I enjoyed a long run with many hills in something very natural this morning- RAIN! Towards the end of my run I noticed my legs were getting weak and I started to think about what I can make when I get back home to support and refuel my body…
I made a drink using spirulina which is a great source of a complete protein from blue-green algae that’s easily assimilated in your body. Protein is critical for repairing muscles. So if you don’t feel like eating some red meat after your work out go for another rich source of protein such as spirulina. I like the Pure Hawaiian Spirulina powder.
Raw honey is great for refueling after a workout. It gives you quick energy and is loaded with live enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Look for the words cold-packed and unheated on the raw honey label.
I ran fast down big hills and I feel the pounding was draining my lymphatic system and loosened up some toxins in my body so the raw egg in the drink will work as a great detoxifier. The released toxins bind to the raw fat in the yolk and get escorted out of my body. The high amounts of sulphur in the raw egg yolk are essential for us to detoxify. The sulphur cleans toxins out of the body and aid the body in making glutathione which is a powerful antioxidant that helps detox the liver. Sulphur is also great for your hair, skin, and nails. Not to mention the egg white is known to be the best chelator of aluminum and other heavy metals from your tissues.
I added the Calm magnesium powder to help relax my muscles and quickly recover from any stress I put on my body. I also just don’t get enough magnesium in my body and its an important mineral that plays a big role in our bodies.
