I love cleansing my house with an ancient practice called smudging, where I burn sage or palo santo sticks.  Palo Santo is known as holy wood, and the fragrance is woody, earthy, and woodsy. Remember to open the windows to let the bad energy out! 

We also keep some sticks in a dish in the bathroom for poo-pourri! :)
