Golden Rod Tea
I love golden rod (Solidago). She's so friendly out in the wild and makes a delicious fragrant cup of tea. It's most famous for its anti-allergenic, kidney, respiratory, and gi-tract supportive properties.
I love the tea specifically as a tonic for urinary tract and kidney restoration. If you have this tea on hand it will also help bring down a fever(diaphoretic), helps dry up diarrhea, good for coughs, indigestion, chronic inflammation, and eczema.
It's warming, drying, and pungent. It's astringent and antimicrobial. Drink 3 cups a day for acute situations.
